Enter a world where you've met your nadir, and are now left to pick up the pieces.Jade Kingdoms tells the story of princess Surentara, who once made a desperate prayer to the God of War, a exiled god once patron to the Old Human kingdoms. Back then she was but a little girl who wanted her father to stop abusing her, yet had the wisdom to know if he would hurt her he would indeed harm their kingdom next.And harm Emperor Belmont would, for he had been brewing a terrible plan in secret. Meanwhile, the God of War would finally come to little princess Suren after endlessly receiving prayers. Seeing her spooked by her divine visitor, the War God tried to explain that he is a god no longer in active duty to the mortal realm, but he was willing to listen to her needs as they seemed desperate. And the princess revealed she feared her father would soon attack the very kingdom he swore to protect.In spite of her attempt to stop her father, Suren would see her kingdom fall to the Emperor's mania. A flicker of hope lingered, for there remained time to help Suren...if only she would let her War God undo her self-imposed exile.

Princess Suren has long been the family black sheep. While many believed it was for her soft and seemingly meek nature, it was in fact for the fact Suren longed for emotional healing of her people's core wound— the shattering of the Asura Dragon Vritra, of whom the Vritra race was born out of after the demigod Indra slew him many eons ago.Suren's noble goal was unfortunately too far ahead of it's time, and she was met with ridicule and slander to suggest their people were "broken" somehow.Yet despite all the slandering and abuse, it would be Surentara that would become her kingdom's final defence line. There was nowhere else to run as her father, the Emperor, began his rampage to slaughter the kingdom. Seeing her people’s destruction, it concluded her long life of trauma and regret, prompting the princess to morph into her dragon form to confront her mad father. Rather than expecting a soft, gentle dragon, princess Suren became a terror wth thousands of eyes and a miasmic body. The void of eternity swallowed the Emperor’s foul light, mortally wounding her father’s own draconic form.Her heroism did nothing to build her confidence and initiate her healing journey, in fact it made her convinced the only life she can have is in complete exile.

Belmont Dragon Tounge was the son of the Sightgiven bloodline and blessed with incredible spiritual prowess. A seer, astrologer and herbalist Belmont was unique amongst the males of his bloodline and many had high expectations of him.Yet Belmont wasn’t planning on using his gifts for the betterment of peole at all, in fact he longed to hoard more for himself. Considering himself to be divine and a true chosen being amongst many in the Universe, Belmont would become a growing danger to all.He would proceed to use his spiritual legacy to plan his entire life. And on one unforunate day, the world would see Emperor Belmont unleash his sorcery in full, attacking the very kingdom he deemed to stand in his way. With no magic wielders in the young kingdom, Belmont overwhelmed it in mere hours, before a single light confronted him- his daughter Suren. Realizing her father would be the Kingdom’s sole Emperor if he killed its Princess, she made a drastic choice by confronting her father in her Dragon Form.Their fight was brief, Suren’s own miasma swallowing the Light that once gave the former King his advantage. As the draconic Suren delivered her draconic father his fatal blow, Belmont smiled wickedly before whispering a secret spell- one that would
shatter his soul and regenerate his body over time.

The God of War and Ash was a most dangerous and feared God within the Human pantheon. Many came to learn of him as the only God accepting no prayer to him unless he himself declares you his devotee. On top of that, many dread giving him the one offering he asks for- the eye of your enemy.Despite that, he had a small but loyal following of beloved devotees, until one day the Asura Dragon Vritra began his assault on Humanity. It was the beginning of the fated fight between him and the demigod Indra, yet it would come at the cost of many lives. The God of War understood it would also mean his time serving mortals would be over, and before fading into myth took out his name from history ensuring no one could abuse his power or legacy.In the current age, it has been declared forbidden to pray to this God for reasons kept tightly under wraps. Many believe the God of War never left this world as peacefully as his sacred texts might claim, and was in fact one of many divine victims the High Blood Mage prince of the Lifegiver Kingdom claimed as he began his own personal war against divinities to secure his people's surival.And yet despite many attempts to keep access to God of War restricted, many eons later fate would have it a little Vritra girl kindly prayed to him.

Sri Iccham is a Wraith composed out of the many souls slain in the wars the Sightless Legion has waged. He's a master shapeshifter, mostly formless without his commander, the War God, being near him. It gives a spectacle of Iccham's many forms and eyes, proudly displaying what remains of his enemies. They're given only to those devotees that must grow exceptionally.It is not uncommon for the Sightless Legion to take those they have slain as trophies, merging their souls together to become various Instruments of War under the God of War’s rule. And Iccham is the most notorious out of his fellow Instruments, incredibly ruthless by nature yet coldly cunning in his calculations to bring incredible feats of victory. Iccham especially can cause planetary devastation by becoming planetary in size- having incredible influence over that which he is capable of bringing down. Devotees of the God of War can call upon Iccham and his brethren to invoke their ultimate dark art.For 11.000 years, Iccham’s been left in the care of the War God’s latest devotee, the Vritra Princess Surentara. Iccham has watched over his Spirit Daughter patiently, knowing she will in due time unleash him as all before her have done.

Young Isolde was once the God of War's shaman before she lost him.
Left with no purpose after her god was brutally taken from her, a vision came to Isolde next, one where she heard the Lifegiver Prince's final breath.It would haunt her to the point Isolde was forced to secretly leave behind the Lifegiver Kingdom to travel the scarred world for centuries in solitude, in search of a solution to help her prince. And in her search the young shaman learned that the very prince she's trying to save is about to pay for what he did to the divine pantheons above.Hope remained bleak until one day Isolde found scraps of her God. Scraps leading her to the most unusual of places, the Vritra Jade Kingdom.

Prince Bahatar was the leader of the Old Humanity born to a world reeling from the Asura Dragon’s fallout. Humanity especially was suffering from the waters stolen by Vritra’s mouth, and heard his elders speak of Indra’s brave ascend to fight the dragon. Yet Bahatar would soon find out Indra’s bloodline would still rise in others, his divinity never quite gone from the world.The young Prince was found to be of Indra's blood, and would in a shocking turn of events declare war on Humanity’s old Gods rather than use his gift to heal his world. No one could stop Bahatar as he swept across the divine realms, taking down the Gods one by one.What power he had left he poured hin what remained of Humanity and renamed his reborn people Lifegivers, displaying pride in their mortality yet bending it to their will with Blood Magic at their disposal.Before long, what Indra once did as a necessity Bahatar did from pure rage- he slaughtered nearly all Gods in the pantheon of the Old Humanity’s Worship, using his divine blood as the catalyst for his Blood Magic to ensure no one would touch his people ever again.
